Hillside High is not unlike your average high school. Located in Orange County, CA, it is filled with wacky and unpredictable students, a terribly unqualified faculty, which when combined leads to outlandish interactions. Hillside High cleverly depicts High School life not just through the eyes of one or two main characters but through the experiences of several different student clicks, (including the Jocks, Stoners, Nerds and wannabe gangsters) faculty members and other crazy characters. The creators developed the concept based on their own personal high school experiences and stories…stories we can all relate to which gives the audience a personal connection with the show. The cartoon is intended for a mature audience using real-life dialogue, and often raunchy and edgy humor.
